Coolant problems
don't announce themselves.
The loop tells us first.
Your AI racks run on liquid now. Flumetra installs the monitoring, tests the chemistry, and maintains the loop, so a silent problem never becomes a hardware loss.
- pH

- ΔT
- 6.4 C
- INHIBITOR
- 82%
The failure mode is silent.
Inhibitors deplete. pH drifts. Particulates climb. None of it trips an alarm, because between a good reading and a fouling event there is no alarm, only the test you did or did not run. By the time a loop announces itself, it does it through hardware.
- Inhibitor reservedepleting
- pH trenddrifting acidic
- Dissolved copperrising
Three ways a healthy-looking loop is already failing. All three show up in a lab panel months before they show up in your hardware. Readings illustrative.
The plan is instrumentation, not heroics.
- 1
Measure
A Loop Health Audit draws samples from supply, return and dead legs, sends them to an accredited lab, and gives you a written baseline within 48 hours.
- 2
Watch
Scheduled sampling turns single readings into trend lines. Wireless monitoring and leak detection watch the loop between visits, rack by rack.
- 3
Maintain
Top-ups, corrections and fluid supply happen when the trend calls for them, planned around your change windows, documented for your warranty file.
Six services. One healthy loop.
Every engagement starts with evidence and ends with a written report. No black boxes, no "trust us."

Common questions.
How often should data center coolant be tested?
Test coolant chemistry quarterly, do quick visual and pressure checks monthly, and capture a full laboratory baseline at commissioning. Every future result is only meaningful against that day-one record. Tighten the cadence for the first six months of a new loop and after any fluid addition.
Can you test our coolant while the racks are live?
In most cases the audit runs while the loop is in normal operation, with no IT downtime. Sampling comes from supply, return and dead-leg points on the cooling loop itself, not from your IT equipment, and anything specific to your site is confirmed in the fixed quote before the visit.
Do OEM warranties require documented coolant testing?
Many OEM warranties for liquid cooling hardware increasingly require documented, regular fluid quality control. What a warranty provider wants to see is a trend, meaning dated lab results over months and years. The operator with three years of chemistry history negotiates a claim from strength.
How much does a coolant test cost?
Pricing is fixed and quoted before we arrive, so the number you approve is the number you pay. The exact figure depends on your facility, so each audit is scoped individually. To get a quote, send your site details through the contact form.
